Kevin has been working in the industry for over 20 years. He began working as a certified personal trainer to help pay the rent while pursuing a BS in Exercise Science at Long Island University. Upon earning his degree, Kevin accepted a position with the National Osteoporosis Institute to develop an exercise program for the treatment and prevention of osteoporosis. At the age of 23, Kevin became the program director of the National Osteoporosis Institute (NOI). While at NOI, Kevin also earned his certificate in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation from the College of Health and Human Performance at the University of Florida.

While pursuing his next degree, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, at New York Medical College, Kevin also received his certification as a strength and conditioning specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  Once his Masters in Physical Therapy was conferred, he worked briefly in a hospital setting before accepting a position at Performance Plus Group as a sports physical therapist. After almost 3 years at Performance Plus Group, Kevin took a senior sports therapist position at Marty Jaramillo’s ICE Sports Physical Therapy. He was quickly promoted to site director of ICE at Reebok Sportsclub, and within two years became the Chief Physical Therapist for ICE Sports Physical Therapy’s four offices; three in New york, NY and one in Washington, D.C.  Kevin is a NYS Licensed Physical Therapist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Level 1 USA Weightlifting Coach. He has also received a license from Fletcher Pilates for towelwork, and completed Level 1 Thai Yoga Massage from Lotus Palm.

Kevin has worked with Major League Lacrosse players, PGA golfers, NBA basketball players, soccer players, Brazilian jiu jitsu champions, ironman competitors, marathon runners, dancers, yogis, actors, amateur athletes, post-partum mothers, injured seniors, weekend warriors, post- operative clients, and the recreational  athlete alike.  His work has varied from early stage rehabilitation to high intensity strength and conditioning programs.

In addition to practicing his own philosophies in the gym, Kevin is an outdoor enthusiast, martial artist, and yoga practitioner.  As an outdoor enthusiast and avid climber, Kevin's journeys range from day hikes, to climbing trad routes in the gunks, to month long mountaineering expeditions in the Andes.  He is a recreational Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor and currently holds the rank of purple belt under the tutelage of Fabio Clemente, Babs Olusanmokun, and Lucas Lepri of Team Alliance.  When Kevin is not pursuing an athletic endeavor he relies on construction projects, playing guitar, and hanging around with his Vizsla, Duc.

All of these amazing experiences have lead Kevin to his new endeavor, Kinesthesia Physio (KP). KP is Kevin’s homage to all of his mentors and experiences. Kevin is known for his desire to think outside the box and his ability to create. KP is his expression of this— creatively, spiritually and professionally.
