So here is an explanation of all the stuff everybody “will not discuss over the phone” or “outlines during the consultation”. The way I see it, you will come because you believe in what I have to offer. Withholding information to get you in is not my style.
1. My rate is $250.00 a session. There is no special evaluation fee, nor is there an extra “credit card rate” I accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
2. I do not give discount rates or package deals. My fee is the least amount I can charge to maintain a profit given the level of service I provide. You will understand if you decide to come in.
1. I do not accept health insurance. This means, you pay me when services are rendered. I can issue a receipt outlining what we did and how much you paid. You can send it in to your insurance company for reimbursement, if you have out of network benefits, what we do at KP warrants it, and your insurance company agrees, you may be entitled to reimbursement. I make no guarantees of reimbursement. I do not fill out insurance forms nor accommodate requests from insurance companies via phone, email, mail or fax.
2. No matter what your insurance company tells you, THEY define and determine what is "medically necessary" and if the rates are "reasonable and customary". With that said most insurance companies will see a 2200sq/ft facility dedicated to one patient at a time as a luxury and not a necessity. It is one of the rare times that I may agree with the insurance company.
There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 24hrs or do not show up for your appointment, you are liable for the full session rate. If you are concerned you may not make it, it's always best to cancel before the 24 hours and if it's still available, take it last minute. I want you here more than your money, so don’t cancel!
